Government's contribution to the digitization and development of the Czech construction industry
Support of transformation to Construction 4.0
News
While the main tool of last century was a drawing board, in this century we move towards another phase of development – digitization. Building industry 4.0 is taking place. Thanks to BIM method, companies are able to save millions during construction and construction operation, are able to better plan and manage buildings and to lower the risk of additional costs. In order to reach this, it is necessary to use respected standards. Moreover, the digitization of building industry offers a unique opportunity to make this field attractive for young generation. This year is key for the implementation of BIM method because starting 2022, contracting public authorities will be obliged to use BIM method with all contracts above the limit.
What is the advantage and possibilities of the implementation of BIM method ? This will be answered on the prestigious Summit Koncepce BIM that will focus on key topics of digital building industry, especially on verification of methodology and standards in pilot projects or practical impact of legal regulations on contracting public authorities due to the obligation of BIM application. The Summit is an opportunity to familiarize with steps of public administration and particular experience of Czech Republic as well as European partners on the way to Construction 4.0. The Summit is intended for professional public from the business sphere and experts from both the public sector and state administration – contracting authorities, contractor, project architects and providers.
The summit is co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Standardization Agency.
